Capsicum Fry Recipe | How to make Capsicum Fry

Ingredients

1. Capsicum – 1/2 Kg
2. Dried Chillies – 10-12
3. Groundnuts – 3 Tablespoons
4. Garlic Cloves – 7-8
5. Salt – 1 1/2 Teaspoon
6. Cumin Seeds – 1 1/2 Teaspoon
7. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon

Recipe Notes for Capsicum Fry

Heat pan and fry 3 tablespoons groundnuts

Fry till it gives out a nice aroma

Fry till it changes color slightly and move it into a different bowl

Add dried chillies and fry till it changes color

Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry

Fry for a minute and move it into a different plate

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan

Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

Add capsicum pieces and fry

Stir and close lid

In the mean time powder the previously fried dried chillies and cumin seeds

Now add fried groundnuts and coarsely grind the mixture

Stir the capsicum and fry till capsicum pieces cook completely

Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix

Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste and mix

Then add prepared powder as much as you like and mix

If the powder is left out store it in an air tight container and use it next time

Cook on low flame for 5 minutes

Serve hot with rice or roti!
