Cauliflower Fry | Simple & Quick Cauliflower Fry Recipe

Ingredients
1. Cauliflower – 1 Cup
2. Onions – 1/2 Cup
3. Green Chillies – 2 (Optional)
4. Garlic Cloves – 6
5. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
6. Salt – 1 Teaspoon
7. Pepper Powder – 1 Teaspoon
Recipe Notes for Cauliflower Fry
Mix 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl of water
Add the cauliflower pieces and let it sit for 10 minutes
This is to rid the cauliflower of any bugs
They need to be boiled next
Cauliflower can be boiled normally n a bowl of water or it can be steamed to preserve all the nutrients
Place a mesh bowl on top of the cooker filled with water
The steam from the bowl below will cook the cauliflower
Close lid and boil for 10 minutes
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan
Add chopped garlic and fry for a couple of minutes
Add onions
Fry till they turn brown
Add chopped green chillies
As onions turn brown, add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix
Add boiled cauliflower pieces and mix
Add 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 1 teaspoon pepper powder and mix
Cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame
Add coriander leaves and mix
Serve hot!
