Ingredients
1. Sweet Corn –
2. Cooked Rice – 1 1/2 cup
3. Carrot Pieces – 1/4 cup
4. Onions -1
5. Green Chillies – 3
6. Curry Leaves – – 1/2 cup
7. Salt – 1 teaspoon
8. Pepper Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
9. Coriander Seeds Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
10. Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
11. Garlic Cloves – 3
Let’s see how to make corn rice
This recipe is very easy to make and it is also very nutritious
Sweet corn recipes are very tasty, especially rice recipes.
Corn rice could be made with left over rice or freshly prepared rice
Here I used boiled sweet corn
It is not necessary to boil them, frying them in oil for a little longer will be enough
Any vegetables could be used here
Heat 1 tablespoon clarified butter (ghee) in a pan
Clarified butter (ghee) or oil could be used
Add chopped garlic cloves and fry
Fry for a minute and add chopped onions
Cook on high flame
Add chopped green chillies and fry
Fry for a minute and add curry leaves
Add chopped carrots and fry for 1-2 minutes after closing the lid
Add sweet corn and fry
Here I used boiled sweet corn
It is not necessary to boil them, frying them in oil for a little longer will be enough
Fry for 1-2 minutes and add 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala and fry
Any other ingredients/ masalas could be added here
Add cooked rice and mix
Cook for 2 minutes and sprinkle coriander leaves
Serve hot!
