Palak Paratha Recipe | Spinach Paratha Recipe

1. Spinach – 1 Cup
2. Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
3. Chopped Green Chillies – 2
4. Salt – 1 Teaspoon
5. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Teaspoon
6. Ajowan – 1/4 Teaspoon
7. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 Teaspoon
8. Coriander Seeds Powder – 1 Teaspoon
9. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Teaspoon

Recipe Notes for Palak Paratha

To a mixing bowl, add washed clean spinach

Firstly dd chopped green chillies, 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste and 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder

Secondly add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/4 teaspoon ajowan and mix

Then add coriander seeds if desired

Add water and knead it into a dough

Don’t add too much water since spinach leaves already has some water content

Add 1 teaspoon oil

Let it sit for at least 15 to 20 minutes

Knead it again

Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a round ball

Press it lightly and roll it in dry flour

Roll it in dry flour and press it into a chepathi

They can be desired into any desired shape

Take a small portion of the dough and press it into a small puri

Add 1/4 teaspoon oil, spread it on the chepathi and fold it in half

Fold it in half again

Roll it in dry flour and press it into a triangle shaped paratha

Heat pan

Place the pressed paratha on it

Cook on medium flame

Flip after a couple of minutes

Spread 1/2 teaspoon oil or clarified butter (ghee) on it

Flip again and spread it in the other side

Flip and cook till brown spots appear on it

Serve hot with sauce or chutney!
