Raw Banana Fry Recipe

Ingredients

1. Green Bananas – 2
2. Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Teaspoon
3. Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Teaspoon
4. Curry Leaves – 1/2 Cup
5. Garlic Cloves – 5-6
6. Green Chillies – 2
7. Salt – 1 1/2 Teaspoon
8. Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 Teaspoon
9. Coriander Seeds Powder – 1 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Sesame Seeds Powder – 1 1/2 Teaspoon (Optional)
12. Coconut Powder – 2 Teaspoons (Optional)

Recipe Notes

Peel bananas

Wash them

Cut them into slices.

Put the slices in water or else they will become dark.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan.

Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2 chopped green chillies, 1/2 cup curry leaves

Mix.

Add diced green bananas

Mix.

Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Mix.

Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.

If you want the green bananas to be crispier, cook for some more time on low flame.

Add 1 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds powder,

2 teaspoons coconut powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 5-6 coarsely ground garlic cloves

Mix.

Cook for 10 minutes on low flame.

Sprinkle coriander leaves

Cut off stove.

Serve with rice and sambar.
